New and improved Aurum Range
Redesigned to meet Royal College of Anaesthetists labelling recommendations
Brentwood, 7 November 2011: Martindale Pharma, a market leader in the manufacture and
supply of specialty pharmaceuticals, is pleased to announce that it has introduced a number of significant improvements to its market-leading Aurum Range of eleven pre-filled syringes.
The Aurum Range of ready-to-use pre-filled syringes are used for on-the-spot administration of drugs where high visibility and simple drug identification is crucial. Based on customer feedback the Aurum Range has been redesigned to enhance ease of use and help improve patient safety, specific improvements include:
- New, colour-differentiated high visibility packaging to enable quick identification in emergency situations
- Colour-differentiated translucent boxes which confirm contents
- Colour-differentiated end labels
- Improved tamper-evident labels
- Latex free
- Luer Lock fitting and compatible with commonly used connectors
Our new colour-differentiated packaging meets national and international colour
differentiation standards on syringe labelling and also the Royal College of Anaesthetists
recommendations on syringe labelling in critical care.
Martindale Pharma is committed to providing a consistent supply of key products in the Aurum Range and therefore from December 2011 Martindale Pharma will hold up to six months of stock on high demand products such as Adrenaline Injection 1mg in 10ml and Amiodarone
Injection 300mg in 10ml.
